Mary Shelleyn klassinen kertomus on tulkittu hyvin vapaasti, ja luvassa on versio, jossa tanssahdellaan discomusiikin tahtiin. Kevyen irrottelun lisäksi esitys johdattelee kaikenikäiset katsojat helppotajuisesti tieteen historian ja etiikan äärelle. Tarina tarjoaa paljon ajateltavaa sekä lapsille että aikuisille. Frankenstein on yksi länsimaisen historian perusmyyttejä, ja siinä käsitellään erilaisuuden ja toiseuden kokemuksia.

Red Nose Company: Frankenstein

Welcome to the world of crazy scientists and groovy monsters! Red Nose Companys Frankenstein is a playful interpretation of Mary Shelley’s classical story, adapted for children and families.

Disco music, wonderful lights and reactive comedy: together with the audience we build an exciting feel-good experience. The actors Timo Ruuskanen and Tuukka Vasama are Finlands most popular clown duo known for their witty and warm-hearted performances.

Frankenstein is a central myth in our cultural history, and it deals with the experience of otherness and the feeling of being different. In the performance, the duo even lead the young audiences through the history and ethics of science.

The performance is recommended for children from age 6 and up
