Enrolment is underway for the 5x2 art courses!

The 5x2 courses are free-of-charge art courses, five weeks in length (2 x 45 min. per week), offered by the City of Helsinki for primary school classes in the city. Each class may take one 5x2 art course during the six years at primary school.

On these courses, children get to make and experience art in small groups guided by professional artists. The goal is to provide students with an understanding of experiencing art through their own work, a comprehensive experience of an environment focussing on art and the opportunity to explore one art type in depth.

In order to attend the course, the class must commit to all five teaching sessions. Classes taking part in the course are divided into small groups (the number of which depends on the size of the class) that study different arts. Will your class be the next?

5x2 art education is offered at Annantalo Arts Centre, Kanneltalo, Malmitalo, Stoa and Vuosaari House. Enrol through your school’s cultural coordinator or directly on the reservation enquiry form in Kultus.
